The album was first announced in 2012 as the final album of his career, and was scheduled for 2014 until 5 days before the album was due out, Wayne’s relationship with Birdman and Cash Money deteriorated and the album was put on hold indefinitely, until Weezy won his lawsuit against the production company and was able to release it himself.
