Following his Sydney show at Qudos Bank Arena, Drake performed at Marquee Nightclub where he stopped his show to yell at a male fan.
The afterparty was reportedly going well until the Grammy-Award-winning rapper suddenly stopped, mid song, to cut the music and point at a male in the crowd. He told the fan to stop groping girls and then threatened to fight him.
I got this close to Drake threatening to jump into the crowd to start a fight with a guy groping a woman in the audience. Violence against women, 6 God says no.🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉🦉 #heropapi #protecterofthepeople #6god #legend #viewsfromthe6 @champagnepapi For licensing and usage, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
In the clip you can hear how passionate he gets when he personally protects the females in the audience from sexual harassment. Almost immediately after threatening the fan, the ‘Hotline Bling’ singer got back to the performance.
Not that we condone violent threats or violence, it was good to see a high-profile rapper like Drake take a stand against sexual harassment and abuse, no matter the time and place. What did you think of Drake’s actions? Let us know in the comments below.
